The Worshipful Master's Station in the East with Jewel, Apron, and Gavel.

Greetings from the East,

Hello my Brothers, we have had an excellent start to our Masonic year. The Officers are becoming more comfortable in their new chairs and the Ritual work is very commendable. We are hosting the annual George Washington Observance on February 18 with our sister lodge Acacia #49, come out and enjoy the fellowship and superb food that our J.W. will be preparing for us.

We are also planning on conferring a Fellow Craft Degree on the eleventh and always appreciate it when Brothers can attend. Our Fund raising efforts are moving forward at a blistering pace and if you have not ordered a Mount Moriah #39 polo, get in touch with our Marshal while there is still time. I look forward to seeing all of you in Lodge and hope the best for you and your loved ones.

This month looks to be another exciting month for Mt. Moriah!

As is with tradition we get to enjoy a great night of fellowship with our Acacia Lodge brothers and their families at our annual George Washington observance dinner. It is always a night I look forward to with delight. Also, this month we will be conferring a Fellow Craft degree for a very eager brother. I will be contacting all officers and involved brothers concerning their parts in the degree.

To close I would like to share a quote from our first president, “The grand object of Masonry is to promote the happiness of the human race.” Masonry has brought much happiness into my life and I hope to bring the joy it has given me to all of you. Thank you for allowing me to serve as your Senior Warden.

On the Level,

As we begin a new year, I am blessed to be part of Mt. Moriah and that you have entrusted me with the duties in the South. Thank you for your faith in me and I am excited for the upcoming year. As Junior Warden this year I will be serving “Food & Fellowship” at 6:30 prior to the stated meetings each month. I will be putting the food away at 7:15 so we can make it into lodge on time. Please encourage all in joining us.

For February I will be serving pulled pork, chips, salad and dessert. This month’s Family Dinner will be on the 18th and in conjunction with the George Washington Observance which is at Mt. Moriah this year. This is a joint communication with our brothers from Acacia Lodge, also we have asked King Solomon Lodge to join us. We will be having pot roast , vegetables, salad, and dessert. I look forward to a spectacular 2015, won’t you come join us and make it so!!
