I hope all of you had a pleasant summer and got a chance to relax with family and friends. Although I couldn’t tell by the weather, summer is apparently ending and September is upon us. Once again we pick up our working tools and return to the quarry. I am eagerly anticipating getting back to the work of our fraternity, and hope to see many of you in Lodge. The September Stated Meeting gives all of us a chance to share in some Fellowship and polish up our work. The year is passing us by quickly and I want to encourage all of you to reach out to a Brother who may need a ride to Lodge or a kind word of encouragement. I pray that none of us ever become so busy that we cannot spare the time required to make a phone call.

Greetings from the West

Brothers, the summer months flew by and I am excited to sit with everyone in lodge again. I hope everyone found plenty of time for rest and refreshment. The second half of our year looks to be exciting and eventful with several men and brothers seeking to join Mt. Moriah.

As always, I offer my help to any brother who wants to learn a new part for a degree as well as to any brother needing help learning a proficiency. Please never hesitate to give me a call.

On the Level,
Eric Holder
Senior Warden

Brethren, If you have missed the last few family dinners, you have been missing good food, great fellowship, and a very exciting time in the life of our lodge. So, what can we do to help get you and your family to be part of it? I would love to talk to you about what has got us re-energized about our recent family meals.

On September 2nd, we will be having Food & Fellowship at 630pm prior to the Stated Meeting. Serving Cheese/Hamburgers, fries, chips, salad and dessert.

Our next family dinner will be September 16th and we will be having our annual “Chili Cook-off.” Bring in a crock/pot of your best Chili (or non-chili soup if you prefer) to share and we will provide salad, bread and dessert.

May your plans for September include the lodge as we seek continued Fellowship.
