Officer’s Messages – October 2019

From the East
WM Eric Willson

I would like to thank everyone for all of the effort they have put into our Ritual this year. I can only imagine how stressful it would have been to preside over a Lodge that does not have its affairs in order regarding degree work. It has been a true pleasure. As we approach the end of this year, I invite all of you to reach out to the senior Officers and I should you need anything in regards to your future positions.

There will be five Wednesdays this month, and I am excited for the chance to have a degree and an education in the same month! I’ll see you there.

Fraternally yours,
Eric Willson
Worshipful Master

As fall approaches, we have a lot going on at Mt Moriah #39. We will have a chili cook off, several degrees, education nights, elections, installation, and Grand Lodge. This is a great time to decide how you can get further involved in the Lodge. Do you want to learn a new part? Do you want to assist in a committee? Help with our charitable efforts? Now is the time when things are being sorted out for next year, so be please make your desires known. Any officer would be pleased to direct you.

Senior Warden

I’m pleased to report receipt of several petitions requesting Degree work of Freemasonry recently. They are testaments of the reputation of the fraternity and Mt. Moriah #39 in particular. I remind you that the fees for initiation is to accompany the completed petition.
